None of these solutions worked for me, I tried multiple of this guys videos as well as some guides elsewhere. I must've been very unlucky, but then all of a sudden I was just allowed to change my pin. Not sure what changed it. Maybe if you're having issues with these solutions try and wait for a few hours and see if it finally allows you to change the pin.

First of all when I click on troubleshoot it doesn’t give me the same option it just goes straight to advanced options and then there is no open command prompt there is, “enable safe mode with command prompt” but when I click on it it doesn’t open the command prompt just goes straight back to the Lock Screen.

YOU ARE MY FUCKING Just imagine having the brilliant idea at 5:00 AM to update the BIOS and discover this error, i wasn't enable to reset the pin since the windows pop up keeps closing. i've followed tons of other useless videos and microsoft forum and guides but nothing worked except your video at the 7:45 AM now i can finally go to sleep after nearly having several panick attacks from the idea of losing my current work. If there is an error U can't type the msoftware just do it manually by going on this pc it worked only problem is I did everything correct now it says my password is incorrect

The “command prompt” does not load. It will let me select it, go to a pitch black screen, then turn off my keyboard/mouse and not let me do anything with my computer, including turning it off, unless I turn off my router.

Thank you, note to everyone make sure you select the drive to find system 32. Mine was using a tempory drive x so it said it was in use by another process when trying to load the hive.
