In session 2 of 3 of the Multifamily Underwriting Fundamentals Workshop I will teach you where to get multifamily market data, why underwriting assumptions are so important, how to create a market trade area for identifying our rent comps, what multifamily underwriting assumptions we need, and how to interpret all the data when doing a multifamily financial analysis.

We will look at the real multifamily underwriting case study from a project that was presented in 2022 in Allen, TX during this session and use the data we find to underwrite this deal in session 3.

I kept telling so many deal making that the MHI does not support more rent growth. Its the REALTOR in me so analize the simplest of facts upfront to stress test the probability of success business planning. Thank you for pointing this out.

Love this content but I have not heard anyone yet address class A, B, and C in a way that makes sense for cities like NYC where many older properties are considered Class A. The age definition without more doesn't work for NYC.
