Sumeru's story arc felt like Mondstadt's, the characters have significant roles in the story and are actually helping the Traveler. The difference is that Sumeru had much more build up than Mondstadt since the 2 main villains (Dottore and Scarymoose) appeared during the earliest stages of the game (1.1 for Scarymoose and Manga for Dottore)

What's nice about Sumeru is that the characters really feel like a team

What I love about Sumeru’s story is how all the characters the Traveller’s met so far are _actually_ helping him out, and I mean ALL of them. It just feels so amazing to see them all actually have a role in the plan, even _Tighnari_ is dealing with trouble with the Fatui at the Pardis Dhyai. They’re basically risking their lives to save Nahida and Sumeru and I love it.

I love the similarities between Scaramouche's body and Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto, you can see similar parts to those from the 3 drops, even The Meaning of Aeons something that is deeply connected with Makoto is present in his design. As well as the Sumeru battle theme redone with Inazuma's instruments. The art department is on fire, it is just outstanding what they did.
