You just have to remember to tell your realtor to not List all appliances as stainless steel so the future buyer can’t comeback and make you guys replace them for not being rainless steel. Other wise I think it’s a great fix.

Buy the cover for the dishwasher. Clients will look at that and think what else is WRONG with this house? With a new dishwasher front their eyes will go right past it.

Y’all have inspired my husband and I so much! We started paying off debt in April and today we were able to pay off two of our credit cards!! I’m so excited to continue this journey!

When we first moved into our house we wanted to replace all of the door knobs because they were the original 1989 brass knobs that came with our house. We had friends who said that it cost them over $300 to buy all the knobs for their house, and our house is quite a bit bigger than theirs. So I came up with the idea to buy one door knob per paycheck. $20 every 2 weeks was a lot easier to budget for than over $300 all at once. It took a decent amount of time, maybe like 6 months, but eventually we got them all replaced! Maybe you guys could do something similar if you want to replace more of the heat vent covers?

Awesome job guys. Cullen you, like your sister and your mom, love a bargain and I do too! It’s just that extra special something that you don’t get paying full price. I always used to tell my kids, I can make a dollar out of 15 cents. I wish I were as handy as you two are. The vent covers were just beautiful, very classy.

Oh my goodness! Everything looks fantastic! I do have to agree with Katie the dishwasher looks great but IF you ever get a chance... buy the cover. Thanks for sharing ❤️

I have been following along and love all the small changes you are making in a budget. I recently repainted my kitchen cabinets and wow what a world of difference. With paint and new handles it cost less than $50. I had the darkest wood cabinets and now they are bright white. I have been working on paying down debt and thought that a “new” kitchen was out of reach

We painted our refrigerator black to match our other appliances. We used appliance paint. It turned out great. We eventually replaced our frig and dishwasher. The frig we got (stainless steel) was one sale and the savings paid for the dishwasher which was also on sale. You guys have done an amazing job!

I love all your upgrades! You guys really scored on your oven and microwave. I think the air vent covers really add a finished look to your kitchen and bathroom. It's amazing what a few changes can do!

Its amazing what a difference those changes make!! I'm super impressed, wouldn't have thought of most of those things!

And, thank you again for these videos, I've SO enjoyed them so far and they really are so inspiring - I'm SO happy to say we just sent in the last medical debt payment that we had in collections last week!!! Planning to pay off two more small bills in July and have a game plan going in the Every Dollar App to pay off a few others....its such a huge relief to see progress and a light at the end of the tunnel. We've got a long way to go but I feel like this has put me in a whole new, better, state of mind and I love it.

Speaking of "divine intervention" or things doing into your lap... I was just approved for supplemental insurance so I know we won't have additional medical debt when we bring our fourth and last child into the world soon and my husband just had a great job fall into his lap that made him and our budget much happier 🙌 thanks again ❤

You all are giving me the itch to go around and update things in our house as we plan to sell in the next 6 months or so! We just framed out our master bath mirror with framing, like Katie mentioned possibly doing. It's not perfect, but looks SOO much better! We painted our vanity cabinets too. Would love to update the countertops but that is just a little too pricey for us now. Happy to share a photo with you if you want! Oh and we just paid off our minivan loan 3 years early! $12k since starting our debt free journey at the beginning of the year, and have plans to pay off another $13k of student loans by January 2021. Thanks again for making this series! I love following you along in the progress!

We started really paying off debt at the end of 2016. We were ish before that. We are debt free except about $5K in medical debt. We have paid about $40K in that time. It’s been slow but steady. We have been saving money during the past 3 months though because Alex and I both lost our jobs. He starts a new job in July and it’s a $7 pay cut from his old job. But that’s ok. Being nearly debt free takes a huge weight off our shoulders and now we have saved 3 months in our emergency fund. Just praying for a job for me or for my YouTube channel to magically take off after 10 years 🤪😂

I would change out the towel bars in Brooks' bathroom and definitely frame out the mirrors. People go gaga over bathrooms and kitchens!
