I think the real problem with Influencer Smurf is the fact that he doesn’t make sense universe wise, as the Smurfs are characters that are meant to live during a fictional version of Medieval Europe with practically anything fantasy related being there.
The original comics and 80’s cartoon were designed to be timeless, and while they did have stories where they technically created something that wouldn’t exist until hundreds of years later, they would usually be a one-time thing and make sense in context of their world, like look at the episode where they created tv and see what I mean.
