I own this pedal and I love it! The only thing I don't like about it is that I literally never have any idea where any of the knobs are set. I'm just blindly turning knobs until it sounds right.

Imo the vox tone bender reissue from the 90’s seems to be leagues ahead of this. I am having a hard time differentiating this from an overdrive the fuzz isn’t warm enough.

Great demo as usual. You always have very accurate demos as I have several of the pedals you have demo videos of. I was looking forward to your review of the legends of tone series. Tone Benders are my favorite fuzz pedal of all time. Would you say this is your favorite out of the bunch? I also found myself really enjoying the tone of the Crimson and the Univox SuperFuzz cline.

Does anyone know if this pedal can be placed further in the signal chain without issue? I know the general rule for these vintage fuzzes is they should be first in the chain, but I’ve seen companies like boss make tonebenders that can be placed further in the chain without the typical noise issues. Thanks

Mine makes a horrible pop the higher I turn the gain up the louder the pop gets. For over 200 bucks it's a horrible flaw
