I hope you are right about "never too old" since I started learning Spanish a few months back and I am 69.

Mark, you and the team have been an absolute life-saver during lockdown! Engaging, entertaining and above all soothing and calming, listening to the various Coffee Break programmes on Podcasts and watching the videos has been just brilliant and has distracted me and kept me sane when times have been tough. I actually listen to the podcasts every morning on my walk to work and on my walk home, and I love them. Keep up the good work, Mark, you’re a national treasure!

What encouraged me the most was Mark's vulnerability. 🙏💖 #legendary

Thanks Mark, for adding Coffee Break Chinese. I don’t have much of a need to learn Chinese, for it’s my native language, but it’s such a pleasure to see people working on it, and being interested in the culture and all. Keep up the good work! A loyal coffee break French listener from Chinese.

Mark is the real deal. There are lots of polyglots, but when I hear some of them speak, they are a bit shaky in some languages. Mark is up front about what he speaks well and what he has a fair knowledge of. He is also obviously an internationalist and a multiculturalist. What an inspiration.

Your skills are incredible, Mark. As a Brazilian, I gotta tell you that your Portuguese sounds completely understandable. That shows how you put effort into what you do. Nice job!

Wow! I'm so happy to see this. I see a lot of these "polyglots" talking a few phrases in 10 languages, it is exceptional also, but Mark, super! You are the real "polyglot" and a real professional, but hat off for all those who are passionnant on language learning. I also study French with you on Coffee break French.

Perhaps you can try Finnish on my channel. I teach Finnish on my channel and study French.

This was incroyable!

I recently retired and and the question people inevitably ask me is "what do you spend your time doing.?" I tell them I am learning French, Italian, Spanish, German, Greek, Dutch and a few others. They look at me as if I am nuts. Having just listened to Mark speaking all those languages, I know it is a very rewarding thing to do. Thank-you Mark for demonstrating that learning lots of languages is entirely possible.
