Dan Worrall sharing his knowledge in any capacity will never be considered "low effort".

"Now Mr Worrall we'd like you to provide a sample..", "Well doctor it's not as simple as that..."😁 all the best Dan.

As if all the people hating on songs out there have been saying, “if only they’d recorded in 96kHz…”

It feels like Christmas day, when I was just a kid - excited to see what Santa left under my tree - when I get a notification that there is a new Dan Worrall video

Best of luck with your new treatment! I am a professor in areas related to sound, recording and mixing. I always tell my students, "You have a friend named Dan Worrall, go watch all the videos of him. And, of course, invite him to your birthday party."
I appreciate the knowledge you so generously share.

Just so you know, Dan, you're a gem. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and your no-nonsense approach to the subjects you cover. It's why you've built a successful & mostly positive community. As long as you upload I will always watch. Thanks again.

Crohn’s - yuk. Sorry to hear that, and hope the treatment works quickly. Thank you for sharing and reminding us ‘don’t wait too long to start getting investigated’. For anyone wondering, having cameras in your pooptubes is grim, but it’s only a short procedure and you can ask for full sedation (which is actually really nice) if you’re feeling anxious. Either way, it’s much better to know what’s happening than to try and ignore what you suspect is a creeping tide!!

The level of effort I'm used to from your videos made me seriously think that after you said "it would take someone a very long time to set that up", you would then say "so anyway, I did that, and here's the result". It's not like I was expecting that going into the video, but rather that you are of the calibre that I would not be surprised if you went ahead and did it to put the argument to rest. That's a testiment to your knowledge and amazing skill of educating others. Best wishes on your health. Crohn's disease is no joke, but it must be said that it has found a formidable foe.

That’s the audience you deserve!
Please do take it easy, becoming a happy old man is much more important than being productive right now.

Dude I hope your new Medication catches on and you'll be enjoying life soon again. As a fellow crohns patient, I feel your pain and can absolutely relate to everything sucking hard right now. I've been hit hard by the disease in 2019 and it took about a year for me to find the right medication. Now I'm getting an infusion about every 7 weeks and am absolutely free of any pain, inflammation or any other kind of life disturbing crap (lol). Wishing you a swift recovery!

Feel better Dan, chronic illness is no fun and unfortunate to say Im right there with ya, but doing better as of late thanks to a new medication! Im hoping you'll be joining me shortly! For a couple of years I've been watching you while I was going through some really hard times. I was using the energy and time I had spare to really learn about how to mix and everything "under the hood" thanks to some rabbit holes you sent me down! Im no where near the engineer you are, but I use a science/evidence based approach inspired by your videos in everything I do and it has yielded some really wonderful results that my local music scene has really appreciated. Im small time still but I really just wanted to take the time to thank you for what you have done for me and many others, just by simply making these videos, low effort or not. You have given an entire generation of prospective engineers and wealth of resources, knowledge, and a solid foundation for a working methodology in the studio.

Greetings from the Seattle DIY Punk/Rock scene!!

I too am super happy with 48k; my 10-year-old iMac wouldn't manage anything higher anyway! 😂 I wish you a speedy recovery, Dan, and an even speedier return to simply feeling normal. Fingers crossed for a General Election soon, eh? Thanks for continuing to share your wisdom and knowledge; it helps so many of us. You are greatly appreciated. All the best!

Thank you, Dan. I'm one of your American followers, and I very much appreciate you nipping the universal healthcare criticism in the bud. Your comment re: years of conservative rule are a warning siren for the US, as well... I'm sure you know.
I'm very sorry for your diagnosis, and also very thankful to hear that you're receiving treatment. I'm a prayer guy-- so, you are in my prayers. And I hope the best for your recovery.
Thank you for all you do with your channel.

I'd like to say how incredibly grateful I am for your persistence in uploading subtitles, even on a low-effort video. As someone with ADHD, I often find it difficult to focus and process a voice speaking for a long period without skipping back every thirty seconds to catch what I missed. Never had that problem with any of your videos. Thank you!

YouTube videos in this category are full of click bait, creators that sound credible (but contradict each other), those selling mixing courses, etc.

Most seem to be just click bait with information that is not practically useful, and often wrong.
Those that are credible are selling course or plug-ins.

I don't know why, but whenever your videos pop up I don't feel any need to validate what you say. Even other YouTubers reference you in their videos "If you want to see a true master of Plugin Doctor, see Dan Worral".

Keep up this good work, it is a breath of knowledgeable fresh air 🙂

I rarely comment on YouTube videos, but I'll make an exception in this case. Your videos have been incredibly helpful navigating the digital audio arena so I truly hope the new treatment helps and you're able lead a somewhat normal life again. Thank you for everything, Dan!
