This country grows the BEST coffee but nobody knows they actually grow it!

Did you know that Australia produces an amazing coffee bean? 99% of Australians didn't know that. And of the 1% who knew, only 1% have ever tasted it!

Why are we buying beans that have travelled 15,000km when we grow amazing beans right here in Australia and the South Pacific? And I argue that the flavours are on par, or even better, than the stuff that travels half way around the planet.

If you are a small food producer, identify how you are different/better and identify how what you do is aligned with their beliefs and values of your core customer (not the mass customer).

More often than not, you need to know why you do what you do and what your own core values are. Identify this and they rest will become easy and you will attract a loyal following.

Some local Australian producers I love include Zentveld's Coffee, Jaques Coffee, Skybury Farms and I also love Tanna Coffee from Vanuatu.
