Fukui really is off the beaten path & I loved EVERY minute of it. I really missed travelling around the more rural areas of Japan. The people were friendly, the food was delicious, and the nature was breathing.

It's nice to see Fukui❗️
I'm living in near Tokyo, I went Fukui with my family about 10years ago.
I remember about Tojinbo and delicious crab(Echizen-gani)🦀
But most memorial thing in Fukui, was Eiheiji temple.
There was over hudred buddhist(we call Obousan)chanted their sutra at the same time❗️
That moment was very shocked me and deep impression for me.

Crab in Japan is so good, especially when fresh. Nice video and props for the 10 hour drive man. my back would be in all sorts of pain after that long in a car. (Even with breaks 😂)

Thank you very much for sharing some ideas to see Fukui. I was given a project by Rakuten Travel and Fukui Tourism Bureau to look into experiences and things to see/do in the area to produce a video guide and your video has helped me get an understanding of what to look out for in the based on their itinerary.

That was great! As a Japanese-American, I didn't have a lot of Japanese friends growing up, but I did have this one gal I met during college. She wound up going back to Japan and we lost track, but I found her on Facebook 20+ yrs later (in 2016)! She lives in Fukui and she took me to Tōjinbō which was amazing. It's crazy that the cliffs are not roped off and these little kids were on a school trip there. If it were here in New York, I'm sure they would gone home with 2 or 3 kids less lol. Anyway, it was an amazing trip and since I only get to go back maybe once every 10 to 15 yrs, I look forward to your videos!

I am SO sorry that I'm so late watching this video!!! It's been a VERY busy week for me :) First off, I LOVE how T says YES to you at the hotel....so sweet :) Fukui prefecture is SO pretty!!! Your breakfast looked amazing!!! Those cliffs were just magical!!! The view from the tower was beautiful!!! I can't believe that you guys got hailed on!!! Food always equals excitement in my book :) :) Traffic sucks!!!!
