Can you get the Sky Go App on Firestick in 2022.

It would be great to get the Sky Go app on Firestick in 2022, but the truth is, it's not looking like it will ever happen. Sky seems to have a pretty strong hold on this. Tried mirroring with macbook, ipad, phone, airplay and hdmi both. When content is played, the screen goes blank. I guess if you want Sky, the box is the only solution for tv

I can use sky go on my macbook pro to my TV using a HDMI cable and it works fine, you cannot cast from the macbook as soon as sky go recognises that you are trying to cast it kicks you off. But HDMI works well and screens in HD if you have that in your sky subscription. Sky want you to rent an addition smart box to show their content on your other tv so really do not want you to do it without the extra box.

Can you install a webcam to a FireTV stick 4k device. Appreciate very much your quick response pl. I am amara from Sri Lanka and I do watch very useful clips on fire tv sticks.

Only way I've found for making it work is by downloading the Sky Go app to an Apple MAC or MacBook, connecting with a thunderbird port to HDMI cable and then the TV acts as a second monitor. Works fine but bit of a palaver connecting it all up and having to control what you view by using the computer.

Hey man I got a problem my fire stick I was trying to put the fire stick blocker on it it won't work and I can't if you download something it won't let you download it says no app installed please you can help I'll try to reset it and still say same thing

Is there any way in which I use the sky go app solely standalone by itself? I watch all of my sports content on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. But it seems like you need a subscription to the TV box deals first in order to use sky go. Is there another way in which you can just pay for sky go itself?

The only way I have found to get this to work is through my projector by connecting to my laptop which sky obviously recognises as a mobile device through an hdmi . That definitely works. Mirroring and things like Samsung dex used to work but sky shut that option down late 2022.. annoying. Hope this helps

Sky took the cast option off Sky Go a few years ago. You where able to do it but now Sky want you to purchase multi room. If you try and mirror the screen it gets blocked. I've given up trying to crack this one

I use Sky Go from my phone and cast it to my tv through Samsung Dex, apart from using a games console its the only way you can watch it on the big screen.
