1. Draw the graphs for the following tables of values, with suitable scales on the axes.
(a) Cost of apples

(b) Distance travelled by a car
Time (in hours) 6 a.m. 7 a.m. 8 a.m. 9 a.m.
Distances (in km) 40 80 120 160
(i) How much distance did the car cover during the period 7.30 a.m. to 8 a.m?
(ii) What was the time when the car had covered a distance of 100 km since
it’s start?
(c) Interest on deposits for a year.
Deposit (in Rs) 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000
Simple Interest (in Rs) 80 160 240 320 400
(i) Does the graph pass through the origin?
(ii) Use the graph to find the interest on Rs 2500 for a year.
(iii) To get an interest of Rs 280 per year, how much money should be
deposited?
2. Draw a graph for the following.
(i) Side of square (in cm) 2 3 3.5 5 6
Perimeter (in cm) 8 12 14 20 24
Is it a linear graph?

1. कुल्हाड़ियों पर उपयुक्त तराजू के साथ, मूल्यों के निम्नलिखित तालिकाओं के लिए रेखांकन बनाएं।
(ए) सेब की लागत

(b) कार से दूरी की गई
समय (घंटों में) 6 बजे सुबह 7 बजे 8 बजे सुबह 9 बजे।
दूरियाँ (किमी में) 40 80 120 160
(i) 7.30 बजे से 8 बजे की अवधि के दौरान कार ने कितनी दूरी तय की?
(ii) वह कौन सा समय था जब कार ने 100 किमी की दूरी तय की थी
यह शुरू है?
(ग) एक वर्ष के लिए जमा पर ब्याज।
जमा (रुपये में) 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000
साधारण ब्याज (रुपये में) 80 160 240 320 400
(i) क्या ग्राफ मूल से गुजरता है?
(ii) एक वर्ष के लिए 2500 रुपये पर ब्याज खोजने के लिए ग्राफ का उपयोग करें।
(iii) प्रति वर्ष 280 रुपये का ब्याज प्राप्त करने के लिए, कितना पैसा होना चाहिए
