More than 11,000 TV and movie writers are now on strike.

The new streaming era has been great for so many new ways to watch things, but the writers say it has made it harder to make a living.

With the strike underway, lights on set are turning off and new productions are halted.

Insiders say writers and the big entertainment companies are weeks away from reaching a deal that could end the strike.

One AI can do a better job than all of those 11, 000 writers combined. That says more about the writers than the AI. A whole lot more.

If they never go back to work. Nothing of value was lost. Entertainment is garbage for the most part now.

writers have been struggling for a few years even before all the AI talk. So I'd bet their jobs are in jeopardy not because of AI but because of their bad writing.

I'm sure it is hard to make a living when you write garbage for years.

Good they weren’t making anything worthwhile anyways. Kick them out and hire new writers.

No, there should be no restrictions to restrict AI. You writers must adapt, and use AI to your advantage. Just be sure to give credit where credit's due.
