Beautiful rendition, and I like the teaching and how it all comes together. We sing this lament with a bit more feeling, heavy feeling — not grief but tinged with it. It is sung in southern Africa, starting in the late 1990s with the terrible scourge of the AIDS epidemic. Meant to give hope and encourage not giving up, as our singer so ably communicates, too.
