Damn, the battle for those rare earth and semiconductor metals is vicious, oh wait we can't talk about that, nevermind they are just fighting because they don't like each other

Winners in the war in Goma are the prisoners who broke free in the chaos

When the leaders wage war, the people are the ones who suffer the most. The best thing would be to provide comfort and peace to the refugees during this difficult situation

Those you call '' rebels'' are Congolese citizens of Tutsi origins who have been oppressed and discriminated by the Congolese Governments for years. In recent years, they have been the target of killings by the Hutu army who fled to Congo after committing the genocide against the Tutsi of Rwanda in 1994, they are called FDLR and are backed by the Congolese Government.

Congo has never known peace since she gained independence from the Kingdom of Belgium in June 1960.

This is not the first Rwandan-backed militia operating in DRC under Kagame’s orders. M23 is simply a rebranded version of previous Rwandan-controlled groups.

🔹 Before M23, there was Laurent Nkunda, another Rwandan-backed warlord who terrorized eastern DRC. After he became too exposed, he was conveniently relocated to Kigali, where he now enjoys protection under Kagame.

🔹 Before Nkunda, there were other Rwanda-controlled rebel groups, all serving the same goal:
✅ Destabilize DRC
✅ Justify Rwanda’s military presence
✅ Exploit Congo’s minerals for Rwanda’s economic benefit

🔹 History keeps repeating itself, yet the international community keeps falling for Kagame’s deception.

CNN needs to send Jim Acosta there to report from the front lines. Instead of wasting his talents on the midnight addition of "Always first never accurate"

My family fled the war when I was only four years old. The memories are fragments now—flashes of fear, chaos, and uncertainty—but the effects linger in ways I can’t always control. I sometimes experience PTSD attacks, and when I try to explain how I feel, people dismiss it. They tell me I was too young to have been affected, as if trauma respects age or memory.

For as long as I’ve had access to social media, I’ve used my voice to amplify the Congolese narrative, to push for our stories to be heard. I’ve shared, educated, and advocated because the world so often forgets—or chooses to ignore—what happened to us. And while I’m proud to be part of this fight, it doesn’t make it any less exhausting.

So yes, I am tired. I’m tired because even though my family survived, countless others didn’t. I’m tired because so many families remain displaced to this day, caught in a cycle of instability and violence. I’m tired of a world that moves on while my people are left to pick up the pieces. And yet, despite the exhaustion, there’s no escape from this fight.
