The caps are not for looks, they are solely for better range.

The Total Energy in the Trips page shows ONLY the amount of energy the truck has actually used to physically move the truck. It does not display the total amount of energy you have charged into the battery. Big difference, especially as you add miles.
Look in your Tesla app under Charge Stats. THAT will show you how much energy you have charged into the battery.
Using camp mode, pet mode, watching videos, etc.. uses electricity but won't be included on the Trips Page.

Thanks. Very useful information. Maybe put the caps on just to compare.

How does that determine the size of the battery? It shows you added 219KWH. Assuming you took delivery of the car with some cherge before putting these miles calculations are off. but 365WH/MI is very imoressive, I get closer to 450.

there is no epa rating for the cybertruck. the epa does not rate vehicles in its weight class

How often are you charging your cyber truck

I mean do you have to charge it every 2 days, 3 days etc

How do you know none foundation's battery is 123KW, the foundation is 123KW. I'm pretty sure its a smaller battery. then those calculations wouldn't be accurate

The new cap doesn't look good.. I prefer the old aero caps that was recalled

I don't think the non foundation has a 123KW battery... it might have 120KW 🤔

You wait, they're going to try to sell you more range later for 2k or more. It's software capped for upsell profits.

Great video series; you have me hooked on new releases. I'm convinced Tesla is using a different battery than the 4680 for this non-Foundation series, it would explain the tax rebate at the point of sale not being available. The range/battery size you mentioned sounds too good to be true, especially considering how Tesla normally over-advertises its range. A comparison of the supercharger SOC charging between the foundation Cyber and the non-foundation Cyber could be a good test of the battery and chemistry type/size. 20%-80% would do it.
