What if instead of Palpatine slaying Plaugus, Plaugus decided to retire from being the dark lord of the Sith. The logic running through my head being "The sith ruling the galaxy must be THE dark lord, not the apprentice. But Plagus would rather study the force and leave ruling to Sidius. Thus handing the title of dark lord to Sidius". Maybe Plagus would call himself a sith noble instead of a sith lord after handing over his position as dark lord.

It is very strange that the Republic did not remember who the Sith were. The last Sith Empire fell just a thousand years before 1 episode. This is not so long ago by the standards of Star Wars, and at that time there were creatures that witnessed the events of the new Sith wars

This is one absolute Hell of a dark Alternate Timeline.

Plagueis' hubris was his biggest weakness, and the Force disliked him so much that it created Anakin in response. I think a mention of Anakin's immunity to Plagueis' force manipulations would have been good in the ending of the video.
Plagueis thinks of the Force as something he can control and rebukes the idea that it is in some manner unknowable.

Great video, though I see a major loophole:

Do you really think the Republic would accept the Sith so easily? I don't, because:
A) Palpatine was killed by a lightsaber wielder... sure, evidence pointed towards it being a Jedi, but they'd co-existed with the Republic for ages, and never assassinated a future Chancellor.
B) The Sith have been believed extinct for a millenium, and The Republic had also been at war with the Sith in the past. The Chancellor is bound to have records of this in their quarters, as are most other Senators.
C) The Sith just happened to show up when the Jedi temple was under attack and the Jedi were blamed for the death of Palpatine.... This is too significant to just be a coincidence.

And bear in mind, the Senate didn't know Palpatine was a Sith Lord before they voted him in, or even until after the Galactic Empire.

In his book plagusus master told him if he didn’t take an apprentice he’d have become immortal and ruled the galaxy. His mistake was taking palpatine on. If he killed him he’d have become the one immortal ruler of the galaxy. He’d probably have killed Anakin as a child to.

Plus the plan palpatine used the clones etc that was his masters. He’d just have waited longer and either installed a puppet or took the role himself.
