Years ago, I worked for a moving company in Toronto. One of our clients, as this rich Jewish banker investor on the bridle path. The place had a gazillion bedrooms, and bathrooms, with himself, his wife, two kids, and maids. Just a little guy, who looked bored in trying to impress his neighbors who had what he had. He looked kind of bored like it was all too much, I think he preferred a far more modest home. You know what I heard about years ago? Was a story about how either Mel Gibson bought a house from Nicholas Cage? Or vise versa, , or was it someone else, and the new owner got the original blueprint, demolished the house and rebuilt the exact same house just so that he could say it was his. I used to look at people who bought houses like this as the dumbest people on earth until a few years ago, when I read a quote in an old interview from some entertainer who was hot back in the early '00s.
