F1 2012 PC vs Xbox 360 Graphics Comparison Ultra Settings

Direct comparison of the graphics of F1 2012 on the Xbox 360 and the PC on Ultra Settings. Xbox footage was captured as is while the PC gameplay was captured at the highest settings the game offers on Ultra settings at 1080p.

no because one of the whole points of a pc is better grapics, and that includes higher resolutions, pc's can support up to 1600p on a single display and that counts as one of its strengths.

It is like having a race between a v6 and a v8 car, but disabling one of the cylinders on the v8 to make it "fair". It was designed to be used as a v8 and it is one of its strengths, the handicap will be totally unfair.

I've got 16 and have never seen Arma 2 use that much.

I think that all platforms that allow us to play, can be compared in that point.
A PC that is made thinking in games, will cost a lot of money, but off course, here are the results, much much better.

I am not familiar with PC gaming but I am considering making the switch since I need to buy a new computer. When the consoles are updated (ps4/Xbox one) will the pc games also look much better than they do now? I believe console games hold back pc graphics but when they are almost on par will we see next gen pc?

that is if it can even run it. however a computer isn't just made to play games, an xbox is, so a PC that is the price of an xbox is made to do something completely different and thus the two are not comparable. also this might be a typo but *lose not loose :P

i wouldn't say the 720 would be a medium gaming rig i would say it would be a bit lower then a medium system, a 560 ti is mid range they will use a gpu thats like a 460 or something like that, they woyldn't be able to fit anything half decent inside a console unless its laptop hardware

A 4 years old graphics card will run F1 2012 at 1080p no problem. My 9800 GT 1GB did. The fact that current gen console hardware is morally outdated is no secret. Even older PC's can run 1080p with better textures than even the PS3. Consoles can't. Factors into the comparison.

Everyone who thinks the 720 is going to have anything that is above an average PC needs to get their ass. Microsoft needs to make a profit off the 720, if they use expensive hardware the 720 is going to cost more, and the more it costs the less people are going to buy it. It makes sense people!
