Two digit random code to unlock the touch screen is so it's a random pattern each time, that way there is no finger print or wear trail that people can try to crack to get inside. Actually a brilliant feature because if you look at the old keypad locks, most of the numbers are wore off, which narrows your guessing to unlock the door as a burglar.

Wonder if there is a point if the low temperature would have an effect on it! Its prettied cold in Michigan!

Hey Corey,
Thanks for sharing your review of Premis, we really liked your video! We think SmartKey is pretty dope too. :) If you want to try one of our Android compatible smart locks shoot us a message. Premis is iPhone only because it is HomeKit compatible, and HomeKit doesn't work on Android.
Hope to hear from you soon.

This is nice but my question is concerning hackers. If people have figured out how to hack from outside of your home to start your push start vehicle, couldnt they hack into this and get inside your home? How secure is this product?
