When I was in high school I was in a band that opened for The Lovin’ Spoonful at an all-day teen fair. They were a fun loving group of guys.

In 1967 I was a sophomore in HS and now I'm 70 and still listening to these great old songs I grew up with. Rock on!

I saw the Spoonful regularly when they were a Village Bar Band at the Night Owl Cafe. Love them from the start. Yeh. I'm old.

I stood next to John Sebastian at Los Angeles International Airport just before he flew with The Lovin' Spoonful were on the Ed Sullivan Show in New York. John wore some fairly high top boots with about six inches of fur at their tops and wearing those 60's round glasses. I was just a young kid in elementary school but it left a memory in my mind I still have today. 🔥🎸🎸🎸🎶🎵🎶. Yes I Believe in Magic 😌

Great song from a great band. I liked the cameo by the dog! The Lovin’ Spoonful is probably the only rock band from the 1960s whose frontman (John Sebastian) played an autoharp.

They were such a wonderful blend of folk, pop, and rock. A nice American response to the British Invasion. It's hard not to smile when hearing them.

I would say that this has to be one of the Greatest Rock and Roll songs ever recorded. In my mind, it might be the best...Most positive, energetic and irresistible pieces of American music ever made.

I met John Sebastian a few years ago when he was playing in my hometown theatre. Got a pic with him. He really seemed like a socially awkward person, even in the Woodstock movie. But man, this guy put out some of the best music ever.

Yes, there is magic in a young girls heart. I pity any man, young or old that can't feel it. We men can never share it but we can appreciate and cherish it.

I was 15 when I first heard this song, 3 months after my mum died and was instantly consumed by the music of this band, especially this tune, have played it literally a thousand times and will always regard it as my favourite. John Sebastian is a genius.

What a wholesome song, it’s not like it will be associated with a delusional Pyromaniac or anything
