off initial impression im worried the player will be too focused on the notes, that they won't be looking at any of the screen with the actual fighting and visual design

Fighting games and rhythm games, two of my favourite genres combined. The soundtrack is what's gonna make or break the game and from what I'm hearing so far, it's sadly gonna be a pass from me :/
