It’s even more difficult and daunting when you go to court to protect your children and then are accused of making a false allegation.

My situation is strange. My mother was sexually abusing me starting around age five. She simultaneously accused(falsely) my father of sexually abusing my sister. This removed my father from our home, and she was able to alienate both my sister and mine's relationship with him. It left me even more vulnerable to her abuse as my father was not there as a potential protector. My father fought for years to regain a foothold in our lives, and although he and I have a decent relationship today, and he is a wonderful grandfather to my son, he never regained a relationship with my sister. My sister has stated that she was never abused, but she said his disappearance from our lives make him a stranger that she just does not wish to know. The extent of their current relationship is that they have exchanged Christmas cookies, and my sister sends him a Thank You note when he sends gifts to her children. But she has not seen or spoken to him face to face or on the phone since my wedding in 2010.

Yes it happened to me. And as a man you're guilty til proven innocent. It took me two years but managed to prove myself innocent. Since then it has happened to two more guys I know. Basically it seems like a default whenever there is a custody dispute. Women get away with false allegations and there are no consequences for them. The system is disgusting!
