Thank you for this video Spoony. This kind of content is very important. A game that is 90% online can’t have this these problems. That’s just pathetic. No matter how many updates Konami does on this “game” if they don’t fix the online connection it will be almost unplayable. This should be their first concern. The game is almost entirely online? So let’s make the best online connection possible. But no, they prefer to give us 8 Haaland cards or weird Malaysian special players.Just fking ridiculous.

For me, this is the number 1 thing holding this game back. Credit where it's due...they have really improved the overall game compared to what it was upon release, but this input lag is nowhere near as bad against AI CPU so I don't understand why it's so bad against other users.
If they can address this, then it will really improve the overall opinion amongst the football game community in my opinion

Yep one of the many things that is annoying about this game. Spoony this has been happening to me a lot and I don't know whether it is something to do with my connection or if there are a lot of players network tampering. It usually happens whenever I get into a good position, i.e... am in a good position breaking clear on a counter attack. Suddenly the connection will speed up a lot, meaning that it totally screws up my button imputs and the attack can break down.
I've recorded examples on my ps4 and you can see on the playback that the game is speeding up. Have you experienced this, this never happened in previous pes games to me and I highly suspect tons of players are cheating.

The issue there for me also...is the shooting animation after the touch...it's a set animation..should be something more contextual to the suitation.

First time passes and shots should always work but should be made manual for players without first time shot/pass traits.

Yes, this happens a lot. Even more infuriating is that they still haven’t fixed the response mid dribble, amount of times I press shoot and bog all gets done . I thought it was the controller but it isn’t, it’s a game glitch they said was fixed but is still very much there. I like the new update but boy oh boy it needs refining. I think it was Spoony who said the game is always pushing you forwards and how true that is, too fast hectic, like a train that can’t slow down.

not just delay, the over all position's positioning is so bad. the DM is acting like CM always push forward, CM is like AM always push forward when team need them. AM is like CF never sit in pockets help the team. the whole midfield made the game unplayable, that's why it is like ping pong game.only D and CF playing

to put it more extreme, i have to place DM and CM AM as back as i could, 1 click away from D, to make them behave so call normal positions

I don't think it's just the imput lag. The defender moved way faster than any normal player would have to intercept the ball and there was a second at hyper speed! He was sprinting, slowed down and was already anticipating the interception before the ball was even at Rashfords feet. What are the stats of the defender? It looks like he covers about 3 yards in one step when it's slowed down

That's exactly what I was talking about on your other video! 😔 Ironically, my opponents are always faster. It seems its a selective problem, most probably with the persons who own a digital version of the game! I play against my friends online in Africa and about a 10th of my internet connection and they're still faster than I am. I'm happy you stumbled upon it. Now you know what I meant by my opponents being faster than myself 😂 Even to pass the ball, it still so sticky. They gotta take 1 or two touches before making the pass and the opponent is always there to steal it before I make the pass or I make a wrong pass. This sucks sideways.

Definitely ! This is by far the biggest problem this game has, and it's going on from the pes days. Playing Fifa on wifi from my mobile is with less delay, than Efootball on cable and with optical net.

tbh I came to the conclusion a year ago that Konami are just the metal gear solid company, they seem out of the depth with the last 3 football games they've released

Yeah, worst part is, when they directly shoot, there is a chance to score a goal, but when they trap it, my chance percentage goes to 0. Worst part is, they sometimes just cancel my input

That's probably the main problem in this 2.4 version, apart from the over-reaction of the defenders, the input lag in attack animations are insane, not only dribbling but also shooting, it's ridiculous
