The lawyer’s question was ambiguous to begin with. It’s hard to get a desired response when you don’t ask a good question. I believe what the lawyer was trying to object to the non-responsiveness of the witness and misspoke. I kind of feel bad for him but it was funny.

I think Heard's Team's constant pushing of the substance abuse angle has seriously backfired. Instead of painting Johnny as a violent, out of control addict they've made him look like someone who was desperate, and willing to try *anything* to avoid confrontation with Amber Heard. Am I the only one who's seeing it that way? Rather than this booze soaked, pill-addled aggressive monster he comes across as someone trying desperately to get away, even if it's a chemical escape rather than a physical one.

I grew up watching American tv shows showing even the most incapable lawyers still being menacing and sure of themselves, and the witness always being intimidated. Is the first time I see that you can be sassy with them and relaxed, and lawyers being so embarrassing, I lived a lie.

I feel so much secondhand embarrassment from this moment, I cringe every time I see it. As a law student, the possibility of this happening to me is so scary. Luckily my country doesn't do oral trials for civil cases lol
