PG is a great interviewer. He didn't back down when Jaren was a little defensive and Pg also did it in a way where it didnt sound confrontational. I like podcast where they respect and give flowers but also ask tough questions. Great job PG

You can tell Memphis has no real vets on they team

JJJ defending his teammate, I get it. The only problem was Brooks made himself a target and then when things went bad, he hid from the same attention he brought to himself and the team. Teammate or not, you can’t defend that.

i love how pg not just agreeing and actually has some push back and it's respected because he's an all star and vet.

Two things can be true😭😭 Lebron can be considered an old athlete & still be elite it’s not an insult unless you use it in similar context to Dillon Brooks

PG is direct with it…and wouldn’t let it slide and made sure JJJ answered the question. Podcast P already leapfrogging a ton of other player pods.

I’ve never seen a team go from a team people wanted to see do well to easily being the most hated team so fast. I need a 30 for 30 or a Secret Base

JJJ calling Bron old isn’t a diss, it is just a fact. If anything, it is a compliment - the guy is clearly past his prime and still a top 10 player in the league.

The more I see this Memphis team talk I totally see their immaturity. Their problems are way bigger than Ja. Totally lack self awareness.

Not only did he say hes old he said “I dont respect you until you come give me 40” We not gonna bring that up?

"He's barbershop" is a great diss lol😂

The comments weren’t the problem, it’s that he shot 31% from the field, 24% from 3 in the playoffs so the Lakers stopped guarding him and could basically play 5v4 on defence. If he was hitting shots the comments wouldn’t have mattered.

It's not that Dillon said he's "old", it's the part that he made it sound like guarding him would be easy. And Dillon made it sound like he'd even be allowed to guard prime LeBron lol

“I don’t respect Bron till he gives me 40.” “We lost by like 30…” Which 40 from that series did you respect more?

Near the end of this interview is where my respect for LeBron comes in, lebron can memorize with great detail an entire sequence, or sequences. This dude can't even remember which game they couldn't close out.

I felt bad for JJJ bro. Dillon is just hard to defend😂.

As a Laker/Bron fan, I ain’t mad at Brooks. I think it’s good for the league to have these agitators and “villains”. The part where I get mad is when you talk all that talk, then hide from the media when you get got and also BLAMING the media for your antics. And the cherry on top: he played like ass during the series

the main difference between Memphis and a team like Miami is the willingness of the younger guys to listen to their Vets. Steven Adams tried to be that but the young guys didn’t listen and it backfired a lot

Of course JJJ is going to back his teammate up, but Grizzlies def learned their lessons.

There's a difference between being confident and disrespecting opponents. "I'm going to lock him down, I'm not afraid of him" vs "he old, he just like anybody in the league"
