How to fix an EPSON EcoTank 2850 print quality issues or the colour is missing completely #ecotank

If you have print quality issues including one or more colours that are complete missing when printing, then I will show you how to check the condition of your epson ecotank 2850 print nozzle first (other models too), then perform basic head cleaning and if that doesn't work move onto power cleaning which can be performed every 12 hours. You should not keep doing head cleaning as it can introduce air and make blockages worse sometimes.

If this process doesn't work then the may be ink starvation within the damper or lines going back to the tank if that's the case see the following video from @BCHTechnologies it's really helpful:

Thanks for this, I did the nozzle clean a few days ago and it got worse with every try. Did the Power clean and now all is good again. Small note, on mine the Power clean used about 20% of the ink from all tanks.

A huge thank you for this. My magenta hadn't been working for a while so I tried three head cleans - end result was that only the black was working 😞 Left it for six hours and did a power clean, now all colours are working perfectly!

To fix any of the new Epson refillable printers, open the ink lid, then open the cap to the color that isn't printing, then run a cleaning cycle, the printer develops venting problems that creates a vacuum, opening the ink allows air to get in, I've found this fixes the problem easily, cap the ink and you're good to go.
