What if Russia Never Existed?

The image of a massive ocean where Russia once was! Europe and Asia would be so close that you could practically swim between them.

Historically, the world would look unrecognizable. No Russia means no Red Army in World War II, so Nazi Germany might have advanced even further east, reshaping Europe. Without the Soviet Union, there’s no space race, no Yuri Gagarin as the first man in space, and no Cold War tension between superpowers.

And here’s a big one: without Russia, say goodbye to Tetris, Ak-47, The first artificial satellite, radio and even Vladimir Putin.

The problem about these predictions: for the example, Russia was the cauce of Napoleon defeat, without Russia Allies would most likely lose the WWI, because with an ocean in East Germany would own east Europe and be extremely rich, that means no WWII, because it was partly caused by Germans defeat in WWI. Now, the story is completely different.

also, without Russia, world literature and phylosophy would be completely different, since people such as Dostoevskij, Turgenev, Puškin, Gogol, Bulgakov, Tolstoj wouldn't have born.

well let's see this from the practical side first no Russia means no Russian empire thus no stopping of German riech, plus there would be no Soviet union that means that the Germans and ottoman would have have never stopped and thus would form great powers. also no Russia means no Alaska, cold war and hydrogen bomb. Also this would have meant that NATO would officially become a peace organization as its purpose was to defeat Russia. also this meant no communism that means that the China we know today would have been much smaller, no chines civil war. This also means that Pakistan would have won the 1971 war and it would have still stayed a dominant power in Asia. We should also consider that no Russia means the ottoman and French empire would have never been defeated which could mean that the British empire would have not been able to get to their full extent. Also as the French empire would never have flopped which would mean that either there would have been no Nazi Germany or nazis but with much less power and area.
