Sleepless (a poem about miscarriage and heartbreak)

Poet Katie Rendon Kahn combines spoken word poetry with music and a visual presentation. In this poem, "Sleepless," Kahn speaks on the heartbreak of losing a child. When she set out to make the video, she wanted the story to be about one couple ( her and her husband) but as she concidered which couple to use for the story she was struck by the idea that the photography should include different couples of different backgrounds because while every situation is unique, the pain is universal.
