OUAT S4E19: Sympathy for the De Vil
Emma is sooo gonna be the next big bad next season!
My theory is the roles of the heroes and villains would be reversed and all of them would be transported back into the Enchanted Forest without a recollection of their past Storybrooke lives, totally a switch from Season 1. Since the story has technically ended with Emma turning Dark, it opens up with a new slate of stories, and a new book.

Theories guys? We NEED to discuss this. Comment below with your theories Oncers!

Emma was protecting her son like any parent would have done

I don't get how this could possibly turn Emma dark. She was protecting her kid and she didn't know cruella couldn't kill anyone. She did what every normal parent would do if their kid was in danger. This whole season has practically made no sense...

the story did end the way he said it would. Emma did turn dark, she became the dark one

Just read the caption, and you were spot on. How did you know all that? Wow. I'm impressed. ;D

If Cruella survived the fall then Emma won't turn Dark.

As bad, as it is for the characters, I am sooo excited for Black Swan. She  could very possibly be the biggest bad yet!

Cruella technically could have tortured Henry. There are many ways to destroy a person without taking their life. She could have found a whip and beat him with it but not yet killed him. There was still the threat of danger and pistol-whipping the shit out of him

A mother can do anything for their children tf makes her the dark one😒

Emma could just puff her away or Henry. Emma would have never needed to kill her.

I am actually not sure how I feel about this. So brutal and raw. Cruella agonizing, and then seeing her body down the cliff, legs and arms spread like an old rag doll. A bit too graphic, particularly for this show.

Princess Tutu. To those who do not understand, well, let us just say that Princess Tutu did the author concept way before this series came in.

This whole hero’s don’t kill thing just seems way too naïve because it’s like if there truly a bad person like if there are murdering kids in setting fires to innocent people when is it really a bad thing to kill them like you do what you have to do that so you Asian so it’s kind a like way too naïve

I've managed to spot a few issues with this.
How can the Savior go dark when all of her potential darkness is in another person?
Cruella Deville could torture Henry instead of kill him. There are many many things that can hurt a person but not kill them like a bullet wound to the kneecap wouldn't kill them but very much hurt them... So the whole "Henry is in no danger whatsoever" thing doesn't make any sense and since she can't kill them she can have her dogs killed them instead of her.
How does killing one person in self-defense or third-person defense darken yourself? That's something I do not understand about darkening your souls at all. Bell saved Rumple from falling into the river of souls by pushing an into the water, if she would have done that Rumple would be in a version of hell but somehow that dark and her soul... If Henry's life was in danger protecting him shouldn't dark and a soul and to Emma's knowledge Henry's life is. I don't understand how the whole soul darkening thing works...

Cruella was my favourite! I really hope she is somehow not actually dead.

I kind of hate this concept.

First of all, the beginning of this half of the Season specifically revealed that Emma's potential for darkness was extracted to Lilith. "Potential" is something that is possible, but must be honed in order to be exploited. As it was expelled from her being, this means Emma should not be able to be affected by it in any way - at least not to a murderous and/or malicious extent. Then, all of a sudden, she's at great risk of it happening and making her one of the darkest people of all? What the hell? Am I the only one seeing the contradiction in this?

Plus, she's the product of true love - and Snow White is the "fairest of them all" and purest of heart. Granted, I'm aware this show altered that somewhat, but I'm speaking generally.

Not to mention, she has had little to no signs of darkness within her since the start of the show. The worst she ever got was stealing a car and attempted theft of food at a grocery store, which are hardly signs of "evil". She even saved Marian's life (for a time) near the end of Season 3. Lily couldn't even ever successfully convince Emma to basically live a similar lifestyle to her - and Emma was always there to help her even if she was reluctant.

Basically, Emma is living the story that, technically, applies to Lily. Yet, the latter has seemingly only ever made bad choices as a consequence of what happened - but not much more than that. I'm officially lost... Next thing you know, we're going to learn that Emma was never actually Snow and David's child and was confused for someone else. If they can pull off such a drastic twist like Zelena taking Marian's place, I wouldn't put it past them.

I have loved this show since the beginning, but as of 4b...I just don't know what to think...
