Nothing you do can truly replicate the real life footage (from Kanes Pixels)

I also recommend adding a noise modifier to the lights so you get the flickering 👍

Idk what Blender is but I make my backrooms footage by carrying around a Super 8 camera with me and walking around at night until I noclip through the floor

Its easier to just go to the backrooms and film a video with your phone...

You've helped me more in a single minute than most blender tutorials have given me in literal hours of explanations.

I wasn't even planning on doing any backrooms stuff before, but thanks to this I may make one as tribute to this incredible tutorial.

Wow, that's a whole lot simpler than I thought it'd be. When I saw the natural-like shaky cameraman movements in these sort of animations I thought they were all done by hand. It's really cool how that effect is handled by an addon, makes getting into this sort of content creation less intimidating.

Thank you so much! Nothing unnecessary in this video, no clickbait. A pure tutorial. 10/10

Thanks dude. You're inspiring me to maybe start making my own blender animations

I use motion tracking instead camera animation but this is great too!

The fact that you included the hotkeys is an actual blessing. I've been wanting to get into blender for a while but with no actual guides to turn to I kinda gave up. This might just get me back into it

The information per second ratio in this video is just about high enough to create the Backrooms anomaly on its own!

how to get random walls quickly and easily:
1. select the floor and go into edit mode
2. subdivide the floor a bunch
3. make sure edge select mode is on and that the entire floor is deselected
4. select > select random
5. extrude the edges that are now selected to create walls
6. select those walls with face select and press P to make them a separate object
7. add an edge split + solidify modifier
to add footers, duplicate the walls, scale them down on the Z axis and add a displace modifier

That was actually pretty helpful thanks, but there is an even easier way to create a backrooms (found footage) video: step 1: *To noclip, one needs to be travelling quickly enough to pass through any solid object like a wall without breaking it. If this is performed successfully, one will have noclipped*

So what I've gathered from this is that it's harder to make a single light than to build an entire labyrinth

Step one: no clip into the backrooms

Step two: record

Step 3: noclip out of the backrooms

Step 4: upload the footage

Now that's the type of tutorials i like! Short and straight to the point! i can't follow normal blender tutorial that are like 20 minute long cuz i get bored. now this however! is what i like.

I'd love to see the backrooms begin to be animated into this sort of thing, like a evolution, in a way, of what it was originally like as well

This is how I love toturoials. extremly fast and to the point. No long babbeling and talking around the point, just the information, as condenced as possible. Love it, thank you!

Bad ending:

Step 1. Download Blender
Step 2. Delete it after seeing how overwhelming it is
