Jemma Churchill Acting Showreel

Jemma trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
Her first job was in Mai Zetterling's feature film SCRUBBERS as a borstal girl.
She has just completed filming HOME EDUCATION a dark comedy thriller in which she played the lead as Carol the dominating mother in spring 2016.
Last Christmas played Baroness Hardup in Cinderella at Salisbury Playhouse.
She played Freda in the new series for Sky TV Agatha Raisin And The Quiche Of Death.
She worked at The New Vic Theatre Stoke on the ground breaking Hoard festival . Drama’s and verbatim theatre with music based on the discovery of The Staffordshire Hoard there were four newly commissioned main house plays and her own one woman play by Samuel Adamson. My Name Is Freda.
She appeared beside Janie Dee and Clive Francis in 84 Charing Cross Road at the Salisbury Playhouse in Spring 2015
She appeared in DOCTORS as Amanda.
Jemma played Ruby in Sarah Daniels newly commissioned play for Y Touring/Wellcome Trust , HUNGRY. A science based comedy drama on the epidemic of childhood obesity.
She was most recently seen on television as herself in the DOCTOR WHO 50th celebrations in Peter Davisons’ THE FIVE DOCTORS REBOOT for the BBC. continuing the DOCTOR WHO theme, she records regularly for the audio company BIG FINISH, she played NANNY LYONS in both series of UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS for the BBC.
Jemma also appeared in Channel 4’s BAFTA winning drama-doc THE PLOT TO BRING DOWN BRITAINS PLANES as Alex, the DCI, responsible for catching the liquid bombers of Walthamstow.
Films include last years’ BURN THE CLOCK directed by David Tucker, DESERT FLOWER directed by Sherry Hormann and most recently an independent short by Iain Robertson called BETWEEN PLACES due for release.
Jemma produced and starred in her first short film BEACHED written by Elizabeth Heery about a teenager with Tourettes. It won the Southend On Sea Short Film Fiction Award 2011 judged by Ray Winstone and Perry Benson.
