Evolution was a turning point in the four guys carrers. Hunter couldn't be believable as babyface. Ric had few yrs left to do something relevant. Dave was as old as Hunter but had gimmick issues. Randy was the youngest so he pretty got the best wings in the business to carry him to the top of his game.

An underrated group imo, Ric Flair most titles in history on Mount Rushmore of wrestling. HHH who was the man at the time and arguably the best heel in the business. Batista as the animal and then Randy Orton as the prodigy and future.

My favorite Randy Orton - Evolution episode was when they turned on him out of nowhere.
It was one of the few swerves I didn't see coming.
I miss the days when that level of surprise happened every 6 months or so.
