In the UK we have tracked and untracked for posting any items, like DVDs. Untracked insures the item for up to £20 and tracked up to £50, the tracking is a scan at the post office and a scan at the recipient’s door. Both the cheaper untracked and tracked parcel can go missing between and the tracking will only show that it was dropped off at the post office.

As long as the DVD or whatever, is worth under the £20 mark, the untracked service will pay out. Paying the extra for tracked serves no extra purpose UNLESS the item is worth between £21-£50 as in it gives you have higher insurance cover. The process for claiming is the same regardless of it being tracked or untracked and so the only reason to pay for tracked in the UK anyway, is if the value of the item goes above the £20 mark. Anything below that and untracked has you covered for less. When you are selling low value items that saving can be huge over a year.

I found bags and bags of dvds at the curb on trash day, classic movies, science fiction, action, crimes, etc. It seems that whoever lived in that house was a movie collector or just a hoarder. A lot of those dvds are collector's, special editions, etc, box sets, etc. Been selling them at my local flea market, keeping some to watch myself and to sell on Ebay this Winter. They are nice and clean. I may have found on those garbage bags about 2000, and I didn't pick up all the bags, I couldn't because I ran out of space in my van.😁

Great content and GREAT delivery, Matt! QUESTION: WHY and HOW are there so many people selling DVDs including shipping for $2-$5!??! I just saw Transformers for $2. WHY even list it. Media Mail in the US costs $3.49 at minimum. I get that it's not worthwhile as far as time, but what am I missing here?

Sorry had to delete my previous and start again, Media in general is very good to sell ie dvd, cd, vinyl etc but its all about the comps and not the quantity your buying even singles are fine if the comps are good and dont just look at sold comps I look at both solds and curent listed but I sell everything nothing gets waisted and if your doing more than 100 sales a month buy a repair machine it will make you money I recommend the ecopro2, 100% on the mailers but buy them in 50s you will get the best price, keep up the good work👍

Great video mate! I'm not sure if you do this but I sell a ton of DVDs and I would recommend trying to comp some first from marketplace pics if possible. I've seen bundles of 300+ DVDs for $100 that I've passed up but then paid $100 for 100 DVDs. Like you said a lot of them are no good but sometimes all of them are no good. Loving your work mate!!!
