Your coldframes on the side of the Hartley would be a perfect place to raise your lettuce. Prop the windows open so it stays cool, but kept from freezing...they'd LOVE it!

Sandals and a coat — you’re a woman after my own heart! Great message to consider how many seeds you start early to potting up and space. Wish I had thought of that before I planted my seeds — yikes! I learn so much from you. Love your channel!

Laura I recently retired and you have given me the inspiration to start gardening in my retirement years. Did gardening with my dad back when I was younger and I treasure those memories. Also did food preservation from that garden with mom. Gives me much a sense of satisfaction. Thank you!

Wow, your parents can leave product outside the store when the Garden Centre is closed and no one will take it 😲😲😲, that's wonderful 😀.

Yes, those fungus gnats are a menace. But, this winter has been wonderful, very few gnats, maybe one a week. I resently found out why that is.
My house plants have a winter unheated room in the house.
Then, we add a new pretty dog crate to the livingroom. I was able to moved some of the houseplants to sit atop the crate. Gorgeous.
One day as I was watering those plants something moved... A lovely little frog. Who I assume came in the house with the plants in October.
I named it Jewel. My husband named it Waldo because we have to hunt for it every day. ( where Is Waldo? )

He is happy, I'm happy and so are my plants.

The curtain under the sink looks great! I think the gray fabric was the best choice.

I usually grow outside in the yard! I start my tomatoes inside and my green peppers are in a mesh bag in pots out on my lettuce table. So glad you have had such great success with your flowers and other plants!

A couple of weeks ago I came across two boxes of tulips in my garage that I didn't have time to plant last fall and after watching you I was inspired to plant them up in indoor planters that is, and now they are all coming up, yeah😁

FUNGUS GNAT P.S.A. - mix 3 parts water to 1 part hydrogen peroxide and throughly water plants/soil. It kills the eggs and larvae in the soil and also acts as an oxygenator/fertilizer for the plants. Typically only have to do 2, maybe three, waterings and the gnats are gone. It’s also great to do as a preventative for new plants (especially houseplants) and soil.

Hey Laura! I know this might not be the fanciest solution. But when I’m replanting my seedlings at this stage I usually just use a solo cup with a hole in the bottom. Just an idea when you need that size pot in a pinch. Love your video!

Thank you for sharing the struggles as well as the successes, Laura! I learn something new every time you have trouble with a new tray of seedlings. Your channel has always been an excellent classroom for me as a relatively new gardener. ♥️
