Dos Oruguitas is such an incredible song. It makes me wish I was proficient in Spanish so I could sing it right. The English version is not as good. You get the full impact in the Spanish version. It makes me cry every time.

I actually agreed to all of these.
I read an article the other day, where Lin-Manuel explained why he had chosen to submit “Dos Oruguitas” to the Oscars, and not “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”. Musically I definitely like WDTAB more (love me some line mashups in a musical!), but Dos Oruguitas is also just SO beautiful and emotional. And it tells more about the overarching themes and story, whereas “Bruno” is more singled in on the story of one character. So I get Lin’s choice.

"Dos Orugitas" is a top 1 for me and top 1/2 for "We don't talk about Bruno", because I'ts so emotional and it is my first spanish song I've ever sang since birth

I feel like comparing Disney songs to radio pop is nearly impossible since they're not even the same genre, it's like comparing apples to oranges, I feel like a better comparison would be New Disney and Old Disney music

When I watched Encanto, I cried through the entire last half hour. Even just hearing the small snippets of All Of You and Dos Oruguitas (songs that played during the last 30mins) made me teary

What I love SO much about „We don’t talk about Bruno“ is how many movement-sounds are made to match the rhythm of the song. From simple steps the sounds of Pepas wedding dress.

With all these Encanto reactions, I really want to see a popular Hispanic music reaction, it could be thought the years or old vs new, idk, I just really want to see him react to more Hispanic songs that aren't just the same popular Shakira ones or some mainstream reggaeton, I want to see Spanish pop, rock, some salsa, cumbia, vallenato, rancheras, anything!

I really enjoy Happier Than Ever. While I do agree with choosing Encanto, I do think that Billie going bold for that song was as surprising as it was impressive.
