Arizona D really needs to improve in the Big 12 if they want to play on New Years.

I'm an Arizona fan, but I'm cautious about getting excited when you play a team that you should beat, and allow them to score 39 points. We will find out if they are really any good when they play Kansas State on September 13th.

#GOBOS, we played Lobo Tough, we put up a fight. -31 point underdogs, we came much closer. I’m proud of my Lobos especially after last week playing Montana State. We had a challenge on the table and did much better than anybody thought, fighting ever, yielding never, #GoBos!

I think he's the best quarterback in the nation.

I'm hoping this was just New Mexico having a game under their belt and fixing things up while Arizona just had to get the rust off. Otherwise, glad to see Fifita and TMac back at it

This game was tough to watch at times tbh. We looked every bit the part of a team with a new head coach and new O and D coordinator. The O-line is going to be fine, we rotated about 8 guys throughout the game and even tested Jonah at LT. Blocking by the fullback (this kid is going to popularize this position again) is a lot more effective than the blocking from the TE unit. Receiving wise would've loved to see a game where it didn't just consist of TMAC's own brilliance so that really needs to round out. Defense, doesn't seem like the Dline came together in camp, though it looked like there was a lot of holding. I think linebacking depth might be an issue, nothing I saw from #6 looked promising.

39 points is equivalent to a report card with 3 As, 1 B, and a D.

They won't be respected until they fix the D.

Looks more like an "Arizona Highlights" video.

When you let UNM UNM!! hang 39 points on you your defense isn't ready. Hopefully Arizona will improve.

Not a defense that survives in a big 12 conference we need to shape it up
