I was raised in the Methodist Church and during catechism classes we visited Duke University. It was one of the most beautiful places I had ever been to. As I get older, I have been more and more disappointed by the Methodist Church and now hearing that Duke University is doing this just breaks my heart. I'm married to a man that was raised in a Baptist church and we have agreed to find a Baptist church to join. We want to belong where the pastor teaches from the Bible and the church doesn't compromise on Christian doctrine. Thank you, Franklin Graham for speaking out about this! I'm surprised that I'm just now hearing about this.

I was born in Durham NC and have lived here since but it is outrageous to me that what was started by the Duke family as a Methodist college has now been ruined by a University staff who have joined the far left theology! It’s shameful!
