SYTYCD: Nigel Lythgoe on Alex Wong and hip hop, plus who could give Wong competition for the win

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Judge and Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe talks Alex Wong and hip hop. Plus, does Wong have this competition in the bag? Why are the judges loving on Jose, but giving Kent a hard time? And if Lythgoe could've gotten inside Melinda's body this last week or so, what would he have done diff-- er, um, let me rephrase that... Oh, I said it out loud already?

@skatergirl137 I don't think he's too hard on them at all. He's very very honest with them and supportive. He pushes them to work harder, and he's never EVER cruel. If they weren't too great, he tells them exactly step-by-step how they can improve. He sincerely wants them to be better.

i don't think you should replace alex wong with his dance routine with twitch in the finale--where is alex wong i can see him being on the sytycd as a returning judge as in this interveiw you give high praise to alex wong and alex wong is a brilliant professional preformer in all dance genre

even though nigel can be harsh sometimes, he has his funny moments. (ex. him and mary murphy during courtney and twitch's routine, nigel in the lauren & neil broadway routine, and "getting inside melinda's body" xD) haha but my fave judge will ALWAYS be adam :))

@canectar Alex said he had completely stretched out and limbered up well before this injury...it seems like it could be just a fluke. That being said-with the disturbing number of injuries this year, I would hope the producers rethink the pace/schedule of the program. ( As well as the insane choreography) They are pushing these dancers way too hard. It's not worth their bodies/careers.

I love Nigel, he is so cool. My favorite judge besides Mary murphy. I don't like Mia as a judge I love her as a choreo. Adam is okay, he is funny.

@computer622 seriously? i can't stand mia michaels. i love her as a choreographer, but i absolutely HATE her as a judge. i miss my mary murphey :(
