Assassins' Creed Valhalla not starting fix! Splash screen, initial load screen not booting PC Uplay

I couldn't even launch my new $60 game and spent about two hours troubleshooting. This is the unfortunate solution to fixing the issue at hand. Hope this help you guys out and let me know how it worked for you down in the comments below!

I searched everywhere for a solution, they talked about various this such as reducing the resolution, going to the file system etc.
But not this one, the right one ! Thanks a lot !

ubisoft connect is the worst platform ever made by mankind

Thank you so much, the splash screen wait time was so annoying had to wait like 30 minutes before the game finally launches

Mine was on my C drive before and it still doesn’t work

In my case I just needed to install the ubisoft Connect, I bought the game on Epic but it seems you still need this to launch the game.

Remember to install games in the Uplay directory. If you don't have enough space on the C: partition, you can install Uplay on another partition. For example (D: Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\) It worked for me.

But why did it work perfectly for me in D for about a week?? Btw I recently found out it was in C and D at the same time (50gb + 80gb 🤨)

My C drive is almost same capacity that he game 105gb, personally I don't consider this a solution.

If you install game on other drive then:
1) install ubi play app on same drive
2) sign into app
3) verify game location in ubi app
4) ubi app will update
5) game should launch from both apps now.
