Jobs unveils iPad 2

Despite being on medical leave, Apple CEO Steve Jobs steps back in the spotlight to show off the 2nd generation of the iPad tablet. Shipping on March 11, the thinner, lighter iPad 2 is also faster, and it comes with two cameras.

the jump in performance and design from ipad 1 to ipad 2 was so insane that it made the 3 other iPads barely look like an update

One of the only bad things about getting an apple product is that right when you spend all your money on the newest product and you are so happy you have the newest thing, they immediately come out with the next one.

It's not the same prices WITH extra features, it clearly says the 16gb model with wifi and 3g(new feature) is $629, not $499.
