The thing with us, is not that introverts do not like to mingle, meeting new people, going to reunions, etc. We do like those things BUT in much less doses than extroverts. We love life, we love our friends and family but again, we like our alone times, more than extroverts.

yup even though i haven't been to a party in like 4 years, people don't invite me and i probs wouldn't go anyways lol cos i don't drink so would just be bored and feel lonely with loads of strangers around me, i don't mingle, i'm a reclusive loner internet addict and kinda like alone time :3

EXACTLY!! Just because I'd rather keep to myself, doesn't mean I'm pissed off at the world. I'm tired of people saying "get outside your comfort zone and talk to strangers. You'll make friends."

This is so accurate! People you don't know trying to make small talk and getting in your personal space - draining. Unable to connect with your friend because he/she is off socializing - frustrating. Wanting to go home, but not wanting to seem like a weirdo - story of my life.
