He's 100% right. I remember all the smart watch companies struggling to carve out the niche for years. Once apple watch released everyone had to have a smart watch. This will make everyone pay attention to vr that isn't and when they realize they can't afford the apple they'll come running to the quest.

Quest 3 linked to a gaming PC is a way better value than the Vision Pro. You could even toss in a TV and still pay less. The only people it might make sense for are those that fly a lot and do remote work.

I think we use the term affordable a lot to justify price points affecting demand. But in reality, a lot of people can afford it, it’s really a matter of how much you want it. The key is to increase demand by providing features and quality, not trying to make something good enough and expecting lower pricing to increase demand.
