Tutorial: Encaustic (Wax) Gesso Transfer Images

Показать описание
Hello lovely people!
This is my tutorial on how I transfer images to fabric using gesso (or Mod Podge) and then sealing them with wax.
You will need: Laser Copies of Old Photo
Gesso (I used white, but you could probably use clear) or Mod Podge
Paintbrush (any kind)
Plain White Cotton Fabric
Wax
Iron
Parchment Paper (or any type of paper, like a paper bag)
And LOTS OF PATIENCE!
The three mixed media artists that I mentioned in this video were:
Stephanie Aune, Caterina Giglio and Lorrimarie Jenkins. All three have tutorials on this same thing.
Thanks and have a great day!

I love the look of this Lauretta. Thank you for sharing this. I didn't know this was called encaustic.
