Pro-life and Pro-choice supporters each voiced their opinions on Saturday in Washington, D.C. following the naming of Amy Coney Barrett as U.S. President Donald Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court.

Abortion rights activists voiced concerns Barrett could cast a vote for overturning the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling that legalized abortion nationwide.

Those opposed to abortion also spoke up outside the Supreme Court building, with several praising the decision, while some knelt and prayed for Trump's pick.

I didn't see any "clashing" here. Just people voicing their opinions in a very civil way.

What clash?! What a completely misleading and inappropriate headline. The interviews were not a clash. Story is fake.

I did not see a "clash" here. I saw a real peaceful protest. Does not paint Global in a good light that it refers to events in Portland as peaceful protests and calls this a "clash".

Abortion is not a right...it's a medical procedure that kills the unborn baby.Abortion is a tool women use to avoid sexual responsibility.

Abortion should remain a choice of the people...but it is nice to see people protesting like people and not a bunch of wild animals.

Global News has no concept how Roe vs Wade could be overturned or its impact.
They also have no concept of how sin is divided - sin that hurts only the sinner and sin that also hurts another person. Excessive smoking hurts the smoker but abortion hurts both the mother and the dead baby.
Trudeau points to 100, 000 dead babies every year, as a sign of female empowerment. But, who spoke for these corpses?

I don't think Islam and most other religions support abortion and there are many people of faith from various religions in America. These atheists should stop trying to force abortion as the norm.

4 kids in a family was a small family when I was growing up. Housing that many was easier when what was being built was not one bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom. Money was scarce and wasnt needed as much as it is today. The parks and baseball diamonds were full of youth . Immigration took away the structure of the large family somewhat. A good neighborhood is better than any insurance policy.

My Body, My Choice Right? Only when it’s convenient to fit the narrative right?

I’m going to share a story from my life. My mom was a drug addict, alcoholic, slept around. She never wanted kids and told myself and my brother this our entire lives. I was the one she took most of her anger out on. From birth until almost 9 years old my mom severally abused me. So did the numerous men that came in and out of her life. At 8 I was finally taken away from her cause she would have killed me, my brother stayed with her, she fought to give him up. I was removed on my brother’s 6th birthday, something else to mess him up, taking away his sister, his protector.
I learned later in life that she hated me from day one cause she thought everyone loved me more than they loved her and she hated me for it and wanted me dead and would have killed me.
Things weren’t much better in the foster home I was in, it was a different form of abuse. I don’t know what my brother ever went through, he’s never told me, we don’t speak currently, I just know I wasn’t there anymore to protect him so it couldn’t have been good after I was removed. My brother and I have been extremely screwed up our entire lives cause of what happened to us. No child should go through the things we did. I’m 41 now and my brother is 39. I think he’s just starting to get things together and find peace, I haven’t quite found mine yet. I suffer with a lot of medical issues that are probably a consequence of years of physical abuse.
My mom would have had 7 kids had it not been for abortions. Considering the nightmare myself and my brother lived I’m extremely thankful my mom had the sensibility to abort those 5 others. That would have been 5 other kids extremely messed up and still suffering from the consequences of an abusive person! God knows where those kids would have ended up?
There’s not too many good foster homes, most do it for money. We’re looked as a piggybank, more kids, more money. Adoption is another money making operation! There’s so many kids out there that need loving homes and so many people that don’t have kids. You shouldn’t have to be well off to adopt! The less kids being born into the system unwanted, the better! You start forcing women to carry pregnancies they never wanted say it be by rape, molestation, a broken condom, faulty birth control etc etc.... the system is going to be overwhelmed with unwanted kids that need homes, parents, love. That’s going to degrade society. Not too many kids in the system actually succeed and go on to make something of themselves. They end up poor, living in the system their entire lives cause in most cases they have never been taught basic skills to survive out in the world. Once you’re 18 your considered aged out of the system, foster parents are no longer paid to take care of you, so your pushed out to fend for yourself.
People that are against abortion don’t think about the bigger story. They don’t think about what happens to that child after it’s been born. If you’re pro-life shouldn’t that mean the child’s entire life? Not just an egg in the womb that isn’t even developed? How about being pro-life and caring about all lives?
I’m sure I’ll get hateful comments, but I’m hoping someone will see the reality of what your advocating for. There’s more to every story.

Whenever people say that either side of this debate is "against human rights", it is simplistic and stupid. Pro-abortion people believe they are protecting a woman's right to have an abortion and anti-abortion people believe they are protecting a fetus/baby's right to life.

So the one commenting about RBG. If RBG dying wish is so important, than why isn't the dying wishes of many Americans that Hillary Clinton go to jail Important.
