Keeping leading zeros | Libre Office Calc

Do you ever import or enter data in Libre that contains leading zeros, like 00123

It reverts back and deletes the zeroes after saving, closing the file, and reopening.

But man, this only works for a fixed number of zeros, how can I allow a dynamic number of zeros?
