Try using passatta in your vodka sauce along with tomato paste. Flavor is so much better than just tomato paste alone.

The Ultimate Sushi Burrito

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

2 large sheets of nori (seaweed)

2 cups sushi rice (cooked and seasoned with rice vinegar, sugar, and salt)

4 oz fresh sashimi-grade tuna (or salmon)

4 oz shrimp (cooked and peeled)

1 avocado (sliced)

1 small cucumber (julienned)

1 small carrot (julienned)

1/4 cup kimchi (for that kick)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (black or white)

2 tablespoons spicy mayo (mix mayo with sriracha)

1 tablespoon soy sauce (for dipping)

A drizzle of eel sauce (optional, but very extra)

1 tablespoon wasabi (optional, for that extra punch)

Step 2: Prep Your Ingredients

Sushi Rice: Cook the rice according to package instructions. Once it's cooked, season it with a mixture of rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Set it aside to cool.

Fish: Slice your tuna or salmon into thin strips (you could also use a variety of fish for even more chaos).

Shrimp: Slice them in half lengthwise for easy bite-sized pieces.

Veggies: Julienne your cucumber and carrot into thin strips. Slice the avocado.

Kimchi: Grab your jar of kimchi and prepare it by draining the excess liquid.

Step 3: Nori Prep

Lay the nori sheets flat on a clean surface (preferably a bamboo sushi mat for easy rolling). Make sure the shiny side is facing down, and leave about 1-2 inches at the top of the sheet for sealing.

Step 4: Sushi Rice Layer

Spread a thin, even layer of the sushi rice across the nori, leaving that 1-2 inch top part empty. Press the rice down gently but firmly so it sticks.

Step 5: The Protein Layer

Now, pile your sashimi-grade tuna, shrimp, and a few slices of avocado across the center of the rice. (Bonus: Add extra protein if you want to go full-on crazy!)

Step 6: Add the Crunch & Heat

Top it off with the julienned cucumber and carrot. Add a spoonful of kimchi for that spicy, tangy flavor that cuts through the richness of the fish. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top for a little crunch.

Step 7: The Sauce Layer

Drizzle the spicy mayo over everything for that creamy, fiery kick. If you're into eel sauce, drizzle a little of that too.

Step 8: The Roll

Carefully lift the bottom edge of the nori and start rolling it up tightly, just like a sushi roll. You’ll want to make sure it’s firm but not so tight that the ingredients spill out.

Step 9: Seal the Deal

When you get to the top, wet the edge of the nori with a little water and press it down to seal the roll.

Step 10: Slice & Serve

Now, here’s the unhinged part: use a sharp knife to slice your sushi burrito in half. Make sure you cut cleanly so the filling doesn’t spill out. Serve with a side of soy sauce and wasabi for that extra oomph.

Step 11: Feast on the Sushi Chaos

Take that first bite and enjoy the fusion of flavors, textures, and pure sushi madness. It’s a sushi burrito that will blow your mind
