How to Use Rock Band Guitars in FORTNITE FESTIVAL!

What's up y'all, this video is showing how to use your rockband 4 guitars for fortnite festival as it may be confusing setting it up for the first time!

Easy Steps:
1. Open up Fortnite and go to the main menu
2. Connect your Guitar to your Xbox
3. On your guitar, hold the yellow fret to "log in"
4. You will now get a player 2 "retry" screen, and grab your regular controller and hold "Y" to take control back
5. You should now be able to navigate with the arrows on the guitar
6. When choosing a song, make sure you are under the instruments "Pro Lead" or "Pro Bass"
7. ENJOY!

So, I can control de menu with my guitar but as soon as the song starts it wont let me play it with guitar. What am I doing wrong?

Great guide on getting Rock Band Guitars working. I don't have a RB guitar but I'm using the RetroCultMods V3 adapter with it's latest firmware to support Festival, and I did the same thing before seeing this video and it works 100%

@CrazyGamingMonkey I’m doing everything that you said but I’m having a problem with the strumming option.. I followed your video and found it saying that I need to map the strumming and at a lost to fix the problem through the options menu but won’t allow me to change it.. also this is with the “Rock Band 4” guitar controller

When I plug in my xplorer guitar to my pc it just registers it as a regular controller and doesn't even give me the options for the guitar controller. What should I do?

Dude what freaking button is that black button with a line in the middle?? I can’t figure it out on the button mapping and how to use it? What is the button that replaces the LB button at the top of the menu? No one has explained it

Do you change the menu button to overdrive like in real rockband I haven't lifted my guitar up since rock band 1 so it feels weird I always hit the button

Is there any way to configure to be able to move the guitar up to activate star power instead of having to hit the D pad. Also can you not use the whammy bar on Fortnite Festival?

I can’t click the log in button or whatever with Y because it’s the same as the ready up button and just starts the matchmaking

What’s your milliseconds for guitar? Mines set to 0 default but the notes just feels a bit delay and I’m pressing the buttons and some just doesn’t register
