Not everyone showers before they get into a vehicle. I've had to clean my vehicle immediately after someone gets out (usually around the corner from their house/apt) while the ride in my queue has to wait til I freshen up my Jeep. The seats hold their smell, and I don't want passengers thinking I smell like that. I shower TWICE/DAY when doing Uber. Once before I start, then again about halfway thru my day just to freshen up from sitting in a car for hours. I can't do the STANK folks.

And when people get in that don't shower, I know they realize how fresh/clean my Jeep smells. I wash my seats every night with a mixture of laundry detergent, fabric softener, and lemon scent ammonia (kills bacteria that causes odor). I mix it all in a gallon jug and literally wash my seats like I'm washing clothes. My Jeep has 250, 000 miles on it and smells FRESH and clean, all the time...

...until a passenger that doesn't shower gets in. Smelling like toes and bad grass or something. I can't even explain some of the smells, but come on folks. If you KNOW you're getting into someone's car, SHOWER BEFORE YOU SET THE RIDE!!!

UberXShare won't work because people are lying on the waybill. They say ONE passenger, then you get there and there's like 3 people getting in.

There should also be a button that a driver can click to say BATHROOM while still online. I get tired of having to go offline - losing consecutive ride quests - just because I had to run into a QuickTrip to use the restroom from drinking juice as I'm driving. Hitting BATHROOM should give the driver 10mins or so to get off the road, park, use the restroom, and then click RETURN TO ROAD.

I get upset when I have to use the restroom and a ride pops up that I have to accept. Sometimes, I'll just go to a gas station anyways and let the person wait. I know they see my vehicle on the app going somewhere other than where they are, but that's just life. I'm not gonna pick them up, use THEIR time to go to the gas station while they wait in my Jeep, then get back on the road. Nope.

Install a button drivers can click that gives them a break. We're not machines. We do pee.

The worst experience ever ..adds 20 mins plus to your journey and you have no say what type of person gets in. No limit to the amount of people get in and out during your journey too

Basically the driver gets screwed over

They pay the driver for 1 trip, but charge each passenger separately. Uber makes alot more money since they charge each passenger a fee. But, they only pay drivers one amount from the 1st passenger to the last.

The only thing good about UberX Shared is that they only get 2 minutes and you don't need to move from the pin point. They need to be there. Easy no show! 😅

Forget it. Those shared riders are the cheapest of the cheap - you'll never see a tip.

In 2020 this video is not accurate. Uber Pool IS expensive in 2020.

Drivers are earning less with this renewed offering chiefly due to the new rate cuts. Upfront information (Fares/Destination) gave rise to Uber’s supposed justification for lowering driver fares and more profits for Uber.
