Cramer & CNBC Today On NVIDIA, NVIDIA Stock, Semiconductor Stocks - NVDA Update
Jim Cramer and hosts of CNBC discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), and Semiconductor stocks. A couple weeks ago, NVDA stock broke below its 50-day moving average on the daily timeframe, and then proceeded to retest a support trendline that stretches back to January of this year. NVIDIA stock then broke below the trendline last Tuesday. This comes after NVIDIA's recent earnings report on August 28. NVIDIA's earnings were fine, however, some market participants are concerned about NVIDIA's growth rate slowing. The slowing growth rate this quarter appears to be largely due to the delay in Blackwell, NVIDIA's newest platform. Blackwell is now scheduled to ship in Q4 and NVIDIA expects "several" billion in Blackwell revenue in the first quarter that Blackwell ships. We have a gap on the $SPY chart and an eventful week ahead. With this in mind, it is reasonable to be cautious and nimble over the next few days.
